I think there is someone in my association on the board that keeps targeting me personally with violations. |
|

Is there a place or someone that I can make sure that they are sending notices of violation to all of the |
|
|
other people that has the same violations as I do. My problem is every time someone comes to my house |
|
|
and parks on the street I get a notice of violation. I have sent a list of other people that park on the street |
|
|
and I don't think they are sending them any notices. Some people park on the street every day. If they |
|
|
were getting the notices they would stop. How can I make sure that they send the notices to everyone not |
|
|
just the people they don't like? Will the city or goverment check on them? |

We got complete approval in writing last May to build a deck and pergola on the back of our house. We |
|
|
replaced the existing wood deck, added stairs and a lower deck with stairs to the back yard along with a |
|
|
Pergola on the upper deck. The deck and railing are Timberteck. The pergola is maintenance free. My |
|
|
husband put the colors of the deck and railing and material in the letter for approval. He told them the |
|
|
pergola was maintenance free. He put the color names from the mfg. for the deck and railing. He failed |
|
|
to put that the pergola was white, but did tell them it was maintenance free. So they approved and then |
|
|
six months later they sent us a letter stating that the pergola has to be painted. We were shocked since we |
|
|
went to great expense to have a maintenance free pergola installed. The whole deck, railing and |
|
|
pergola are maintenance free. That was the purpose of it so it would look good and we don't have to |
|
|
worry about it peeling. Anyway they are stating that since it is white they assumed that it was primed and |
|
|
that we were waiting to paint it. Now they are trying to force us to paint it. My husband contacted the |
|
|
manufacturer who sent a letter stating it would have to be acid washed to paint it and it would ruin it and |
|
|
void the 20 year warranty. |
